Description

The DLPA300 device is a micromirror driver for the DLP 9-µm pixel, high-efficiencydigital micromirror devices (DMDs), which include theDLP780NE, DLP780TE, DLP800RE, DLP781NE, DLP781TE, DLP801RE, and DLP801XE DMDs. A part of these DMD chipsets, the DLPA300 micromirror driver generates the V OFFSET and V BIAS voltages. It also switches V OFFSET, V BIAS, and an externally generated V RESET to create the micromirror clocking pulses for the DLP DMDs. Either the TI DLPC4420 or DLPC4430 display controller manages the timing of this waveform.
