The SHA106 is a 2-pin package secure authentication IC for disposable applications. The device embeds a SHA256 hardware accelerator and 4 slot of key storage. The 2-pin form factor integrates a capacitor within the IC which provides parasitic power capability. The disposable only needs a power and GND pin as the data are run over the power pin. This compact form factor is ideal for application with restrained I/O on the controller or the disposable itself and/or space constrained. Check out the SHA104 for identical cryptographic function but with standard SOIC8 and uDFN8 package or 3-pin pin variant with VCC, Data, GND).
