EZ-PDTM PMG1-S1 CYPM1111-40LQXI is the tray packing option of the simplest MCU supporting Dual Role Port (DRP) USB-C PD applications. The USB PD block in the EZ-PDTM PMG1-S1 is used for USB-C source/Sink attach detection and negotiating a power delivery contract. This includes the BMC PHY, slew rate-controlled gate drivers for the source and sink side FETs, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection circuits. It also integrates a high-speed USB Mux.
