Low Harmonic Distortion, Low Charge Injection |
The HV2818 is a low harmonic
distortion, low charge injection, 16X2:1 high-voltage analog
multiplexer/demultiplexer with only a +5V bias supply. All the switch channels can pass up to ±100V
high-voltage pulsed signals however not a DC. They are intended for use
in applications requiring high-voltage switching by low voltage controls, such
as ultrasound imaging, piezoelectric transducer drivers and printers.
The HV2818 is pin-to-pin compatible to its high-voltage biased counterpart,
HV2801, except for bias pins. The HV2818 has an 2.7A high
peak-current performance in a 64-lead, 9 mm x 9 mm QFN package. The SW pin can
pass high-voltage pulsed signals when the switch is ON. During the OFF state, no
high-voltage signals should be applied to the SW pin. The ON/OFF state of the 32 switches can be programmed individually
through a digital serial interface. The device has a typical 6Ω ON resistance
and a 50 MHz bandwidth for small signals.
The HV2818 does not have the
bleed resistors at SW pins.
