Its true CMOS 765B core provides 100% compatibility with IBM PC/XTTM and PC/ATTM architectures in addition to providing data overflow and underflow protection. Sophisticated power control circuitry (PCC) incorporated for multiple low power down modes support and Software Configurable Logic (SCL) incorporated by the FDC37C669 Floppy Disk Controller for ease of use, which doesn’t require any external filter components. Software and register compatible with SMSC's proprietary 82077AA core.
