This design provides a small physical size, low profile, low-power consumption, fast warm-up and tight temperature stability. The EX-219 bridges the cost/size/performance gap that exists between small, lower power and large, higher power Space OCXO offerings.  By delivering SC-cut OCXO performance in a greatly reduced footprint, Microchip's solution delivers a powerful combination of performance and miniaturization. Leveraging our Class S QPL manufacturing line, flight heritage, and leading OCXO technology, the EX-219 offers exceptional performance and reliability from LEO to Deep Space. Flight units utilize Swept Quartz, a 4-point Crystal Mount, Class K Element Evaluation IAW MIL-PRF-38534, and Class S Screening IAW MIL-PRF-55310. Engineering Models (EM) are fit, form, and functional equivalents of the Flight Models (FM) and can withstand the same environmental envelope less radiation.
