ECC206

In Production

The ECC206 is a member of the CryptoAuthentication™ product family. The device is targeted for disposable applications and is intended to be used as a companion device with Microchip or other vendors’ microcontrollers. Consider implementing an ATECC608 in your host to perform the ECDSA P256 verify function of the signature your disposable or accessory would return. You could leverage that same ATECC608 for mutual authentication to an IoT cloud platform. The 2-pin form factor is possible due to the integrated capacitor that will hold enough charge to run the cryptographic operation. This form factor help architects to remove the PCB from the disposable and save further cost while preserving the secure authentication. ...
