The QT2100 is the functional replacement of the QT1106. It is a capacitive touch controller with 10 configurable QTouch?? channels, up to seven buttons and either 1-slider or 1-wheel. The QTouch, self capacitance sensing algorithm is the more simplistic algorithm that measures the capacitance between one sensing electrode and another object (usually a finger). The button sensors can be constructed in a variety of shapes and sizes. The device includes all signal processing functions necessary to provide stable sensing under a wide variety of changing conditions and frequencies.
