SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) filters use piezoelectric surface wave propagation on a quartz substrate to achieve sharp, high-Q bandpass filtering — providing excellent selectivity for RF front-end filtering in smartphones, GPS receivers, wireless keyboards/mice, remote keyless entry systems, garage door openers, and loT modules.
