The Results of Temperature Sensors - NTC Thermistors 3432
NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors decrease in resistance as temperature rises — the most widely used temperature sensing element for inrush current limiting in power supplies, liquid level sensing in appliances, engine and battery thermal monitoring in EVs, and general-purpose temperature measurement in industrial and consumer applications. Our NTC inventory covers glass-encapsulated bead, epoxy-coated, disc, and chip SMD types from EPCOS/TDK (NTC thermistors B57xx series), Vishay (NTCLE series), Murata, Panasonic, and Ametherm — with nominal resistances at 25°C from 1kΩ to 1MΩ (10kΩ and 100kΩ being the most common), beta constants from 3000K to 4500K, and tolerances from ±1% to ±5%.
Specific NTC probe assemblies and glass-beaded NTCs in tolerance grades tighter than ±1% face periodic shortages. Welllinkchips maintains a stock of both standard and precision NTC thermistors, including end-of-life radial-lead and disc types for legacy appliance and industrial heating control applications.
